NIKKI CULLIMORE

I qualified as a Therapist in 2009 and have been working within the industry for 8 years. I wanted to get involved in this industry because I saw the effect that a healing/caring touch can have on a person. A family member had a course of massage treatments and facials which really helped to reduce her anxiety and increase her self-confidence. After seeing the effect that the treatments had on her, I wanted to be able to do that for others, so I applied and trained as a therapist at Kingston College and have been training with various product brands since, including Dermalogica, Comfort Zone and now Aromatherapy Associates and Environ.
I’ve previously worked in 5* hotels such as The Athenaeum and The Hilton on Park Lane, as well as smaller independent salons.
I’m enjoying working at The Hogarth MediSpa and the team is one of the best I’ve worked with yet. They’ve made me feel like a part of the team from the moment I joined.
I really enjoy performing deep tissue massage treatments, as both my client and I can feel the difference straight away. The benefits of having a massage are amazing, especially if you are feeling emotionally in-balanced or stressed. It helps to clear your mind and bring some balance back to your body.
Aside from beauty and skincare, I really enjoy travelling (who doesn’t!) and being able to experience various cultures. Cooking and food photography is another big passion and what I spend most of my time on if I’m not with clients.
